About Children, Inc. Learning Center

Children Inc. Learning Center is a successful licensed childcare learning center for infants to 12 years of age with school age. We welcome families regardless of economic, social, religious or cultural differences and are committed to providing quality education services to families in Bartholomew County. 

We provide activities geared to the educational, physical, emotional, and social needs of each child.  Children participate in a variety of activities supervised by experienced childcare educators. We are NECPA (The National Early Childhood Program Accreditation) accredited and a Level 4 Paths to Quality childcare provider. 

When alternative funding sources are available and families qualify, we accept vouchers, CCDF contract, United Way, On My Way PreK, and other scholarship programs.

Children Inc. Learning Center teacher/child ratio

Because we are an Indiana Childcare Licensed Center, required adult to child ratios are closely followed.

  • Infants: 1 teacher to 4 children
  • Toddlers: 1 teacher to 5 children
  • 3 year olds: 1 teacher to 10 children 
  • 4 year olds: 1 teacher to 10 children
  • 5 year olds: 1 teacher to 10 children
  • School Age: 1 teacher to 15 children

Curriculum

Children Inc. Learning Center uses the Creative Curriculum to plan lessons tailored to the needs of the children in each classroom.  Teachers plan activities geared toward increasing skills and practicing STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math).

We work with families to provide the best outcomes for children and encourage family engagement during children’s enrollment at Children Inc. Learning Center.
